10:30 – 11:45Royal Greenwich Observatory (with audio guide) – Explore the observatory’s Octagon Room, the Harrison’s Clocks and the Great Equatorial Telescope. Enjoy amazing views across Greenwich Royal Park and the City of London – don’t forget to stand astride the Meridian Line with one foot in the eastern hemisphere and one in the west!
12:00 – 13:00Cutty Sark (with audio guide) – Walk right underneath the Cutty Sark’s gleaming copper hull getting an awe-inspiring view of the ship. Explore the main deck and experience what life was like on board the world’s sole surviving tea clipper and the adventures of the Captain and crew.
13:00 – 14:00Cutty Sark Afternoon Tea – Indulge in a quintessentially British special afternoon tea sitting directly beneath the Cutty Sark’s iconic copper-clad hull. Choose from a selection of teas, sandwiches and sweet treats. Vegetarian and vegan options are available (cloick the menu pictures below to view). Gluten-free option is not available.
14:30 – 15:30National Maritime Museum (with private guided tour) – The largest museum of its kind in the world incorporating the Tudor and Stuart Seafarers Gallery, Polar Worlds Gallery, Nelson’s Gallery and the Trader’s Gallery. Our private guide will bring to life the extraordinary stories of 500 years of maritime history including great explorations, fierce battles, pirates’ antics and the dramatic rise and fall periods of historic maritime trading.
16:00 – 17:00The Queen’s House (with audio guide) – Wander around this beautiful 17th Century royal villa built as a ‘house of delight’ for the Queen, in the gardens of the palace where Henry VIII and Elizabeth I were born. The house contains an internationally renowned art collection of works by masters including Gainsborough, Hogarth, Stubbs, Turner and van de Veldes.
